I am Emilia Măţel (married Tantar), Dr. in Computer Science, Research Associate at LCSB, University of Luxembourg. Some details about my cursus can be found in an interview available here.
Between October 2010 and September 2012 I held an AFR – Marie Curie post-doctoral researcher position within CSC/FSTC, University of Luxembourg. Before that from september 2009 to September 2010 I was a post-doctoral researcher in the Advanced Learning Evolutionary Algorithms (ALEA) Team, INRIA Bordeaux – Sud-Ouest, France and responsible with the ALEA Working Group, together with Alexandru-Adrian TANTAR.
In April 2009 I was awarded the title of Doctor in Computer Science of the Université Lille 1, France. My PhD thesis research on “Landscape analysis in multi-objective combinatorial optimization” was performed as a member of the DOLPHIN project-team, part of the Computer Science Fundamentals Laboratory (LIFL) and INRIA Lille-Nord Europe.
From October to December 2008 I was a guest researcher at Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI), Amsterdam, The Netherlands, in the Computational Intelligence and Multi-agent Games (SEN4) Team.
In May 2007 I was an invited researcher in the Centro de Estudos de Gestão do IST (Instituto Superior Técnico), Lisbon, Portugal, in the Prof. José Rui Figueira’s team.
